Why your Website should be registered:

Approved members may display the Bureau logo on their personal or business Website. The logo builds trust and assures visitors that the site is registered and the owner is interested in customer satisfaction.

Who can apply for membership?:

Anyone can apply for membership if they have an active Internet Website. The Bureau does not certify sites that are under construction, are incomplete, have broken links, or are written in a language other than English.

What are the requirements to join?:

Applicants must submit a request form that authorizes the Better Internet Bureau to review the Website in question and determine if it meets the Bureau's Guidelines. Instructions for submitting an application are shown below.

What does it cost to join?:

A life-time membership is $45.00 (U.S.) but is not payable until after your website has been reviewed and approved.

Application instructions:

Before proceeding with a request for membership please read the following guidelines. The Better Internet Bureau does not approve membership to Internet sites that contain any of the items listed below.

1. Any text, photos, graphics, video, or other references to sex that may be unsuitable for family viewing.
2. Any links to the items mentioned in item 1.
3. Any racial or religious prejudice or links to sites that contain racial or religious prejudice.
4. Any profanity.
5. Any unlawful act(s) or links to sites that commit unlawful acts.
6. Any deceitful or misleading statements.
7. Any gambling, lottery, or pyramid schemes. Legitimate MLM and Network Marketing sites are welcome.
8. Any retail or wholesale site that does not offer and honor a minimum 30 day refund on tangible items sold on the Internet. The 30 day refund policy does not apply to digital products that are downloaded from the Internet such as eBooks, private membership sites, and software.
9. Any mass distribution of e-mail known as Spam.
10. Any site that adds any of the above mentioned items after their membership has been approved.

The Better Internet Bureau reserves the right to modify or add to the above restrictions.

How to apply for membership:

To see if your Website qualifies for registration fill out the following form. You will be notified within 48 hours if your site has been approved.
